Design - Color is an important aspect of
web design. Good web designers choose color carefully to serve a purpose. Sometimes that purpose is to be bold and get people’s attention, and yellow happens to be an excellent “attention getting” color. Yellow is a high energy color that can evoke mental activity and bring on cheerful thoughts.
When you have a project that has a specific color requirement it can sometimes feel like you are creatively limited, that you can’t have fun with your design and you are perhaps boxed in. While this does happen with many colors, one that is not the case with is orange, as I learned recently on a project. Out of all the colors that are used on the web, orange can stand to be used more. It is a very versatile and exciting color that is usable in so many ways. Whether it is for a call out box, background or navigation, orange is a strong color that can be used to catch the viewers attention and highlight the most important elements of your design.

Well you don’t see Yellow in Webdesign every Day. With a wavelength of 570–580 nm yellow is, as is light with a suitable mixture of somewhat longer and shorter wavelengths. Yellow’s traditional RYB complementary color is purple, violet, or indigo, while its colorimetrically defined complementary color in both RGB and CMYK color spaces is blue.
